This project encompasses ten transitional housing units and an activity building for domestic abuse victims. The project was sponsored by the YWCA and Star 100.7 radio in San Diego and includes both townhouses and accessible units around a central activity courtyard. The forms and layout were designed to promote interaction while still creating a sense of "home" and identity for each unit to promote constructive attitudes and interaction by the residents.
