MCBRIDE RESIDENCE

This design was based on the client's desire to utilize off-site fabricated concrete building panels in a project that would serve as a prototype and marketing tool for similar residential projects that would be constructed using this unique building product. The ocean view site allows for the concrete panels to be aligned to maximize structural integrity. Extensive use of wood and other natural materials offsets the hard concrete, and soft shapes and surfaces allow for a warm and inviting feel to the concrete home. The home was featured in San Diego Home and Garden and will be featured in an upcoming edition of Unique Homes magazine.
