ORCHID & ONION AWARD

Richley Plaza received this 1992 ORCHID & ONION AWARD designation based on its creative and dynamic design. Created for a group of medical practitioners on an urban infill site, the design portrays a unique and upscale image for the Clients and utilized custom tile, metal finishes and fiber optic lighting to create the statement for the eye-catching facility. Orchids & Onions is an annual Design recognition symposium sponsored by various organizations involved in design and architecture and is an annual salute to the most notable of San Diego County's Planned and built environment.
